Dear concerned individual

--------------
We would like you to submit to Woo Issue Three. The goal is a compilation of relatively brief, abstract writing that is in some way related to a local Vancouver experience in any form: poetry, anecdotal, embellished, historical, fictional etc. There would be a list of contributors but the idea would also be to dissociate the actual written piece from the author, so pieces would appear only with their titles in the remainder of the magazine in an attempt to dissociate any kind of preconceptions from the texts. A thematic association might be something along the lines of Lisa Robertson's "Occasional Work and Seven Walks from the Office for Soft Architecture"" or Janet Cardiff's "Her Long Black Hair", but these are just examples and not guidelines by any means (it is really quite open and we are curious what our community is interested in).

If you have anything preexisting that you would like to submit or have time to write anything short, it would be greatly appreciated! Something in the range of 750-1000 words would be ideal.

Unfortunately the deadline is very soon as it only ermerged recently that putting out an issue out would be possible (First week of August)(Extended to August 15!).

Thank you,
Woo Magazine
